- What is included in the monthly hosting?
- Use of our dynamic Digitorial streaming video player with options to email, download, embed code, show RSS feed [and text message][expected release 9/15] your video worldwide.
- Your video will be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- Monthly statistics including how many times your video was played and average length of play.
- Unlimited simultaneous viewing of your video.
- I am not located in your city, how do you film my video?
- We have a network of preferred videographers, who are pre-qualified and available across the country. We give videographers a list of standard specifications to assure that all videos are of the highest quality. The videographer will be well informed regarding your video requirements before arriving at your office. This is accomplished through the pre-production planning that takes place prior to your appointment with the videographer.
- How do I know the video I order will be the video I receive?
- After you order your video, you are assigned your own project manager who will guide you through the process. We make sure you are involved every step of the way so you have complete control over the content and message of your video.
- How do I check my stats for my video?
- When your order is complete you can access video stats 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, when logged into the digitorial.com website.
- Who owns the copyright to my video production?
- Our clients own the copyright to any production that is created. Once the project is paid for, the client is emailed a copy of the final production for their records.
- How does the video get on my website?
- Once your order is complete, you will receive an email with instructions on how to add the video to your website. The instructions will include a few lines of code. Wherever this code is placed on your website is where the video controls will display. The video will then stream from our server, which does not affect your bandwidth or server size.
- What if I want more than 1 revision?
- If the error is something that we did wrong such as mispronouncing a word then there is no charge. If you would like to make changes then you will be charged on a per revision basis and the price would need to be determined based on the extent of the revision.
- What if I would like a professional actor or actress in my video instead of me?
- We have a well developed network of professional actors, actresses and voice over talent. We will work with you to find the right look or voice for your video. High profile talent (TV actor, radio personality) may add to the cost of your production.
- How long is the standard video?
- Our standard Digitorial Video is 2 minutes in length. We find that for web based video applications, 2 minutes is maximum length, but we can produce longer videos (hours in length) if your application requires it.
- What type of technology do you use to stream my video?
- We use Adobe Flash technology to deliver your video on the internet. Flash does not require an external player, starts playing very quickly, allows for easy worldwide distribution of your video can be seen by 95% of internet users.
- Do I have to sign a 1 yr. contract with you to host my video?
- No we operate on a month-by-month basis. You are billed each month your video is being played by our server.
- Will people on dial-up be able to see my video?
- Yes. Our Digitorial Video player has a connection speed “sniffer” built in. It will automatically detect the connection speed of the viewer and send the appropriate format. This guarantees a very high percentage of people on the internet will be able to see your video.
- Can I use the video you create for me on television?
- All video we create is broadcast quality so you would be able to use it for television when appropriate. You will need to request a copy in broadcast format and an additional fee will apply.
- What is included in the 8 hrs of filming?
- Our camera crew will arrive at a pre-determined time and will spend some time setting up and calibrating equipment. During this time, our crew will work with you to select the locations inside your office best suited for filming. During our stay, our crew will be gathering “b-roll” images (external of your office, pan shots of your staff, etc.). They will also film interviews with individual members of your staff, if your video requires this. Our crews are professional and experienced. They will be there to guide you through the process with a minimum of disruption to your business day.
- How are cancellations handled?
- Clients must call 24 hrs before the scheduled filming time in order to reschedule. Failure to do so will result in a charge of $50 to cover the time spent by the film crew arriving at the client’s location.
- What if I have video or photos that I want included?
- Not a problem. You may upload photos and video files to us using our Digital Asset Management system (DAM) when you place your order. In some cases you will need to mail a disc or tape in. The image must be at least 640 x 480 pixels and 300 dpi for best results. Images given to us in a lower resolution may appear blurry.
- How long does it take to produce my web video?
- On average, the entire video production and video streaming process takes 3-4 weeks to complete. Each production job is unique, but we may be able to complete your project in a shorter period of time.
